Demon-Hunting Cop, Part-Time Grim Reaper

Zhong Ze is so hopelessly unmotivated that his ancestor Zhong Kui storms up from the underworld and gives him a thorough beating. Then he teaches him cultivation techniques and gives him magical treasures, making Zhong Ze a part-time underworld ghost constable. In the mortal realm, Zhong Ze catches ghosts, banishes evil, and upholds justice on Heaven's behalf. Later, he is even invited to become an exorcist police officer. With an official post in both the mortal and spirit worlds, he thrives in both realms. Wild ghosts, evil ghosts, hanging ghosts, water ghosts, lustful ghosts, headless ghosts: there are all kinds of ghosts. Every time Zhong Ze catches one, he receives a boost that makes him stronger!
