Stockpiling Like Crazy in the Apocalypse: The Zombies Strike First

Apocalypse, stockpiling, devoted couple, zombies

Ye Xinhan keeps dreaming that the apocalypse will arrive in two months, but she has no money to stock up. All she can do is hustle for every freebie she can find, first at home and then abroad, diligently gathering a mountain of supplies. When the apocalypse finally arrives, something unexpected happens: while out on a no-cost shopping spree, Ye Xinhan is bitten by a zombie and becomes one herself, though she retains her consciousness. When she sees Yin Haoran, the high-school rival who used to bully her, surrounded by zombies, she excitedly goes over to scare him. But the horde parts automatically when it sees Ye Xinhan. Yin Haoran, however, assumes that even as a zombie, Ye Xinhan is protecting him. He thinks to himself, “She must be madly in love with me!” Thanks to his deluded self-assurance, the two get caught up in one hilarious story after another. As they bicker and struggle to survive in the apocalypse, the male lead’s self-indulgence and wild imaginings add plenty of lighthearted fun to their grim world.
