President Gu, Give Up on Getting Back Together. Your Wife Is Already Broken by Your Abuse

[Marriage first, love later; a groveling redemption; one-on-one romance; both leads have only ever loved each other]

Xie Anran was once the beloved young lady of Beijing's elite. Then everything changed overnight: her family was ruined, and her father was sent to prison.

To uncover the truth, she marries into the rising Gu family.

Beautiful and aloof, she always holds herself above others, like an untouchable flower on a mountaintop.

Gu Tingshen loves and resents her in equal measure.

He loves her stubborn strength, yet resents how coldly she treats him.

Three years later, Gu Tingshen's childhood sweetheart and first love returns from abroad. Xie Anran takes off her wedding ring and files for divorce. She leaves without hesitation, vanishing from Gu Tingshen's world.

Only then does the once-unbridled Mr. Gu realize he's taken things too far.

Afterward, people see the aloof and all-powerful president of the Gu Group kneeling on the ground, eyes red as he begs her to take him back: “Wife, I was wrong. Please love me one more time.”
