After transmigrating into a cultivation world, Gu Jinnian was stuck with an ordinary mortal body. His original body couldn't cultivate at all, and so it remained for three years.
Then his master took in a future Confucian sage as his junior sister. Gu Jinnian bonded with the Junior Sister Cultivation-Race System, and finally set foot on the path to immortality.
The harder his junior sister pushes herself, the stronger he gets.
And as more junior sisters join them, they compete with one another and grow stronger and stronger.
Gu Jinnian discovers that he's growing stronger, too, so he decides to slack off. His junior sisters all promptly lose it!
"Senior Brother doesn't do a thing, yet he's worth hundreds of years of my hard cultivation!" his female scholar junior sister fumes.
"Senior Brother, no matter how I cultivate, I can't catch up to you. How am I supposed to force you to be mine?" the future leader of the world's Daoist sects swears.
"Senior Brother, stop slacking! I want to watch you cultivate, even if you only sit in meditation for a little while!" The empress loses it.
As Gu Jinnian spreads his hands and protests his innocence, his master sneaks into his room that night.
"My disciple, I need you to help me cultivate!"
I was puzzled when I watched it. The plot seems to be inconsistent from the beginning. When did a fairy not even predict the protagonist? Then it comes out later for some unknown reason. How come the people I meet are all stronger than the protagonist. How do I want the protagonist to grow up faster?
