(Second Chances After a Breakup, Healing, Each Other’s First Love, Devoted to Each Other)
A calm, rational engineering student × a roguish CEO
Fu Shaochen has a handsome face. At twenty-six, he returned from studying in the United States and spent two years making waves in the business world as a project director at Kyoto’s Mingsheng Group. After his identity as the chairman’s illegitimate son was exposed, he was suppressed and banished to a second-tier city, where he was parachuted in as the general manager of Mingsheng Digital Technology in Yecheng.
Song Ranran is a computer science graduate student at a prestigious 985 university. Calm and rational, she never acts spoiled or shows off, and is known at the company as an ice queen.
When the new general manager takes office, Song Ranran is gloomy every day.
In the restroom at the welcome party, Fu Shaochen can no longer keep his composure. He takes her straight to the fire stairs, then pins her hard against the wall.
Song Ranran winces. “Fu Shaochen! What are you doing?”
Fu Shaochen slowly leans close to her ear and speaks with deliberate malice. “I…”
Song Ranran can no longer keep a calm expression. She flies into a rage and kicks him in the shin.
The man groans, then slowly lets out a breath. Brushing the short hair away from her face, he speaks slowly and tenderly. “Ranran, have you calmed down? Let’s stop giving each other the silent treatment…”
