After his summer job hunt ends in failure, even a milk tea shop rejects Xu Sheng for having “too high a body temperature, which would affect the ice cream”! Just as he starts questioning his life, a text about a “National Cultivation Special Recruitment” sends him hurtling to the back mountain of Qingcheng.
A spirit-testing stone bursts into a blazing light in his palm. He has the “Pure Yang Dao Body,” unseen for five hundred years!
His summer job goes completely off the rails: room and board means a cave abode, and his benefits package includes a flying-sword allowance! He also becomes the disciple of a mysterious master and practices a dangerous ancient method: treating his body as a furnace and refining innate pure-yang true qi into the seed of his alchemical flame!
As spiritual qi revival transforms the world, Xu Sheng journeys across famous mountains and rivers reborn with spiritual energy, claiming rare treasures such as earth-core flame and ten-thousand-year marrow to forge his natal alchemical flame. Old enemies and new demons alike see him as the ultimate elixir.
Starting out as a trainee cultivator, he subdues Kunlun with his fists and cleaves through forbidden lands with his sword, paving his path with the blood of his enemies. He vows to become a furnace in human form, burn away every shackle, and refine all things, becoming the first cosmic True Immortal of this era of spiritual qi revival:
the one who incinerates all enemies and protects the human world!
