Jessica's story came to me in a dream, with some creative additions. I feel that sometimes it's really hard for women in society. It seems they're always expected to be tied to a man to have any worth. Jessica is like that. Sometimes, she doesn't even realize she's already become a man's appendage. That's why it feels like she's always orbiting the men around her. She thinks she's strong, but in reality, it's only the patriarchal society that makes her feel strong. Of course, Jessica isn't perfect either. She's selfish, blinded by love, stubborn, and self-righteous. But people aren't perfect to begin with. Perfection has always been something the powerful impose on others.
