Our Chuunibyou Lives

Stone is a nine-year-old ringleader among the village kids, getting into mischief every day. One minute he's smashing one family's windows, the next he's wreaking havoc on another family's chicks. Then one day, a troop of soldiers passes through the village. Their imposing bearing instantly captures Stone's heart, and he vows to become a soldier. He runs all the way to the county seat, only to fail to enlist and get a beating when he returns home.

The year is now 1959, during the three years of famine. Stone is eighteen. To save people on the brink of death, he does something that causes a sensation throughout the city. He always loves the world in his own way, but Heaven can be unfair: his kindness brings him hardship. After a life full of ups and downs, given the chance to choose again, he would still choose to be a good person!
