Marrying the Bad Boy: My Ex and His Family Beg Me to Take Him Back

Everyone in Huai’an knew that Su Huixin loved Lou Tingqian. She had practically thrown herself at him and married him, becoming his son’s stepmother. No one believed she would be willing to divorce him.

Lou Tingqian didn’t believe it either. With his beloved ex-wife in his arms, he asked Su Huixin for a divorce yet again.

Looking at the astronomical divorce settlement, Su Huixin neither cried nor pleaded with him to stay. She signed the divorce papers, went home, called a moving company, and sold off everything in the house as secondhand goods.

Her friends bet that during the 30-day divorce cooling-off period, Su Huixin would act like a lovesick puppy, crying, begging, and even kneeling to win Lou Tingqian back.

But on the day they went to collect their divorce certificates, Su Huixin showed up with the most rebellious, brazen, and reckless young man in Huai’an.

The young man shouted at Lou Tingqian, “Hey, ex-husband! Quit dawdling and sign already. I still need to get our marriage certificate with my darling.”

Lou Tingqian held his son’s hand, his eyes reddening on the spot. “Huixin, you’re the one I love. Don’t divorce me.”

Her stepson chimed in, “Mom, I was wrong. I’ll behave from now on and do everything you say.”

Su Huixin threw their own words back at them: “The way you two grovel is just pathetic!”
