Best Friends Transmigrate Together: Taking on Mothers-in-Law, Dumping Husbands, and Laughing All the Way

Shen Yue and Ning Hua nearly get caught sneaking off for a dip. To protect their reputations, they jump into the water to escape.

But one jump lands them on their wedding night.

Shen Yue: [Is it always this intense? We’re starting with an X-rated scene!]

Ning Hua: [If I’m going to die, at least this man is gorgeous. He’s exactly my type.]

The two of them both marry into the same household and somehow end up as sworn rivals.

Shen Yue: [So, basically, I heard you like my husband, and I like your husband, so now we can’t stand each other.]

After accepting their new identities, they find out they’re both cannon fodder.

They’d hoped to enjoy the shade under a powerful family’s protection, but then they get the worst news possible: the men they married are the two big villains in the book.

[Cannon-fodder fate + villain husbands + a difficult mother-in-law + an impossible sister-in-law + family property confiscated]

So the two of them keep their heads down and save money, making plans for their future duck-pampering lifestyle.

At last, they get the news they’ve been waiting for: their husbands have gone to the front, and one has broken his leg while the other is paralyzed from the waist down.

At Yongle Lane, the two women lounge with cigars in their mouths and silk blindfolds over their eyes, playing a game of hide-and-seek with handsome men.

Through the light-filtering gauze,

Shen Yue: [Hey? Why do those two men look so much like our husbands, the one who broke his leg at the front and the one who got paralyzed from the waist down?]

Ning Hua’s lips twitch. [They don’t just look like them. They are them.]

Xie Beizhou’s face is icy. [Are those men in better shape than me?]

Xie Nanyu gives her a knowing smile. [Do you like playing this kind of game, my lady?]
