You Like Rich Playboys, So Why Are You Crying When I Reveal My Fortune?

My dad: I made a little extra money selling fruit, so I’m sending you five million! Roommate: Your dad sells fruit and only sends you five hundred for living expenses? You broke loser! Me: Whatever you want, I can buy it for you. I’ve got a little money, after all! Ex-girlfriend: You’ve only got a little money, and you still have the nerve to act rich in front of me? Disgusting! I never thought I’d hide the fact that I’m insanely wealthy, but somehow everyone mistook me for a penniless loser. No matter how I explained it, nobody believed me. All I got in return was mockery and cold stares. Fine, I’ll be a broke loser. It actually makes it easier to see what people are really like. If you cast me aside just because I’m poor, I’ll make you regret it. If you don’t mind that I’m poor and still show me kindness, I’ll help you achieve fame and success. You can have friends even when you’re poor, people who stand by you through thick and thin. You can find love even when you’re poor, with someone who understands you completely and loves you with all their heart. Pretending to be poor and all that... Why is it actually so much fun?
