After I Refused to Be a Substitute, the Big Shot Panicked

Xu Zhiyi had been Lu Shishen’s mistress for three years. She knew perfectly well that he was a fickle man who never stayed true to anyone.

But she still fell for him.

Watching the women around him come and go, she had no choice but to hide her feelings.

Until he got engaged to his fiancée.

Until she asked if he would marry her, only to be rejected.

At last, she understood that to Lu Shishen, she was probably nothing more than a “plaything” he couldn’t show in public.

So she resolutely chose to leave.

But Lu Shishen regretted it...

That night, he pinned her against the wall and kissed her deeply.

“Lu Shishen, let go of me. I’m not a substitute for your first love.”

“There was never any substitute. It’s always been you.”
