He refused to be eaten as an experience point, so he escaped. The world outside was even more terrifying and grim than he had imagined. Clad in a red-and-black hooded coat, he walked through one silent night after another, using the weapons he carried to survive one indescribably desperate day after the next.

Then he met that girl. He thought his life would change course, only to discover in the end that, after all the twists and turns, he had merely returned to where he started. Alone, he could only keep walking through the night, silent and unseen.
