She Flips the Phoenix Coffin and Slaughters Her Way Through

When Consort Liang dies suddenly, Emperor Huizong orders that she be buried with the honors befitting an empress.

Lu Haitang, a professional agent from the 21st century, opens her eyes to find herself inside a phoenix coffin. She flips it open with one palm. The body has transmigrated, and so has she. What a shabby palace-intrigue plot!

The imperial family is the most heartless of all. The original owner was jealous, foolish, and reckless, and her entire military family ended up dying as martyrs. She was destined to be cannon fodder.

How could a dignified daughter of a military family be confined to a tiny palace? She takes up her spear and volunteers to go to war, rescues her father and brothers, and routs the enemy. On the day of her triumphant return, she plans to trade her military achievements for her freedom.

But then Emperor Huizong keeps showing up at her "cold palace" every day, bringing her one rare treasure after another

Lu Haitang is baffled:

Could he have noticed her combat skills and want her to serve the Great Xuan state?

She wouldn't mind being appointed a female general.

But why isn't the man even mentioning a reward, and why is he sleeping over in her "cold palace"?

"My beloved consort, I've warmed your bed for you. It's late and the dew is heavy. Hurry and go to bed."

Lu Haitang: Wait, why does this man look so much like Prince Jin, the fearsome warrior on the battlefield?
