Wang Bei reluctantly got up, then stretched.
His name was Wang Bei, and he lived on a desolate planet called Perot IV. They weren’t well-off, but he and his parents led fulfilling lives every day.
He had thought life would go on like this forever...
“Run! These damn bugs... Where did they come from? I can’t... Ugh...!”
Before his eyes, his family were pierced and devoured one by one by enormous bugs.
Helpless, he collapsed to the ground. His pupils kept contracting as he vomited again and again.
“Ugh... No, this is a dream. Please let me wake up... I’m begging you, it’s a dream... It’s a dream... Ugh...”
Until the bugs were about to pierce him too.
“Survive.”
“Wang Bei, you’re impossible to read. You should be the general of the Luofu~”
“Jing Yuan, you know me. I treasure my life more than anything. Your position takes way too much effort~”
