A realistic story about gay love: an ordinary life, an ordinary romance, and the familiar regret of everyday life. I wrote it a long time ago and had nowhere to put it, so I’ll let it find a home here.
It's you. Lao Gao has never thought about getting married in the past ten years, let alone having fun. You brought him spring, but cruelly left him in the cold winter. You changed him from serious and steady to humorous and gentle, but in the end he was scarred. When he said he couldn't find any hope of living, I knew how deep he was in, but you still left without even following up. God knows how lonely he was afterwards. I was very sad to see Lao Gao find a woman, because you left him with no choice but to give him hope? How many half-years does he have to wait for you? I like people like Lao Gao very much, but the author didn't treat him well either and assigned him a stranger, a vampire. He deserves better, he deserves someone who loves him, not someone who only loves himself.
I studied theory, but I was very emotional. I could really relate to the protagonist before the postgraduate entrance examination. He had a personality similar to mine and was quite indecisive, but I would only make myself sad and not hurt others 😢. I was very happy to see the two of them bickering and fighting before. I think life should be like this, and I wish them well. Later, I saw that Lao Gao had changed a lot. He changed his serious style, as if he had changed from a lion to a puppy, caring for and teasing his cat (I hope you can understand). He is not interested in English and mathematics, but he wants to know what you study and come to see you all the time. He is really nice. If there is someone who treats me like this, everything else is just a cloud. I only want one person for the rest of my life.
The ending is not very good. The protagonist and Lao Gao should not have room to turn around. At this point, feelings cannot solve everything. The protagonist leaves me alone to die in old age 😠. Give Lao Gao a 5 points.
But we are used to a person breaking into your life, bringing soil and germinating seeds, and then we can no longer enjoy a person's loneliness.
When you change a person, does it mean that he can no longer live without you?
I went to the exam section and added a little bit of my imagination, and now I feel comfortable [punch out] [punch out]
I opened it last night and finished it during lunch today. It's very uncomfortable, I still feel very uncomfortable. This book deserves the word "reality" in its introduction. I was thinking, it would be great if I stopped reading when I read the part where Lao Gao took the initiative to kiss.
I really like the author's narrative tone, which has a pessimistic and calm tone of resignation. Perhaps it is this tone that is destined to not have a happy ending. Maybe it's this lacklusterness that makes few people read this book.
The conversation between Lao Gao and "me" was so natural that I unconsciously thought it was true. It seems that there really is a man like Lao Gao who pours all his love into "me". Maybe this is why I haven't recovered yet.
Lao Gao seems to be given to "me" by God. This book does not delve into the issue of "sameness", but focuses on the conflict between feelings and future. Lao Gao regarded "me" as his destination, but "I" only regarded Lao Gao as a temporary harbor. Can this be blamed on "me"? I don't know. "I" suffered setbacks in my relationship with Yu Hongjie, which was indeed enough to make "I" hesitant about Lao Gao's relationship. But Lao Gao hugged "me" to sleep, gave "me" kisses, and promised to do so for a lifetime, but "I" left him and ran away. I feel so pitiful about Lao Gao, especially since I like men like Lao Gao, and I feel that Lao Gao should not be treated like this.
What I feel is lacking is that there is too much white space. Why does Lao Gao have such a relationship with his mother? What does Lao Gao like about "me"? I especially want to know these things. But the more I think about it, the less I can get out. I really have a person like Lao Gao in my heart.
How can I put it this way? This book is really realistic and the emotional description is very delicate. Lao Gao and Xia met and got to know each other, gradually became familiar with each other, and revealed their sincerity. I really like this plain and sincere description. Works that can arouse people's hearts are good works. I would be annoyed and disgusted by Xia's ignorant "selfishness", his cruelty towards Lao Gao, and his aloof "not satisfied". I would also feel sympathy and pity for him because he is young, ignorant, confused, and does not know what is worth pursuing for a lifetime. No matter how many books he read, the waves of life were not real. Xia spent his entire life mentally attached to other people. He was "short-sighted" and only knew what to do in the present was "good". After experiencing so many people and things, and with so much experience, he suddenly understood that he had already seen what true love looks like, and he could finally tell the true from false emotions. It's a pity that no one waits for you as a matter of course. People always have to wait for time to pass before they understand something. Love is obsession in the end. We are always immersed in the fantasy of what we must do again, but we forget to grab the hem of the clothes now. There are so many opportunities that can be saved, have a good chat, open your heart, talk about your real troubles, tell why you want to fly away, say please wait for me, love will wait for you. It can be seen from this book that the author has a lot of life experience and has his own unique insights, which may be part of his past. The biggest feeling after reading this book is the slightly decadent sentence "Cherish the people in front of you." I think Lao Gao and Xiao Xia will also think so in the end. The connotation of this book is far more than that. If you read it carefully, everyone will have different opinions. Finally, the author will write a new book soon. I have read it, so I will write something sweet. Life is always forced, but if life is good, there is always something to look forward to.
Damn it, I looked at it again, it's he
I held my breath and finished reading it. The author's writing style is very mature. I think it is better than most of the novels rated 9.5. When I was reading the first 40%, I was thinking about why the writing style is so good and the emotions are so delicate, why the score is so low. I secretly read the comments, and my mentality changed a bit. I read one chapter and lost one chapter. I felt like I was completely involved. The usual quarrels between the two sides made me want to keep reading, but the more I read, the heavier it became. I may understand the reason for the low score. It's not that the writing is bad, but that the writing is very good. It was so good that I always held a breath in my heart at the end. The author uses this plain surface to lightly cover the turbulent emotional undercurrents. I can even guess Lao Gao's previous experiences, and I can feel Lao Gao's emotions at this time in just one word.
But after all, you, the author, have written it. Regardless of whether it is based on a true story, it is a novel after all. People always like to look from the darkness to the light. The open ending can certainly have a lot of daydreams, but these daydreams are simply insignificant to readers like us who are holding our breath. Maybe you, the author, just want to write this kind of novel to express such a story, but after all, we are readers. Now that the extra is so popular, don't you really think about it? There are many regrets in life that cannot be made up for, but you, the author, can fill the gap in our hearts. I have also read several books by the author before I came to this feeling. I am very sorry that such a good book has such a low score. If there are extra chapters, I believe the score of this book will be very high.
The writing in this book is plain and powerful, and the sentences are very long without any unnecessary embellishments. However, I decided to read it at the first glance. I really, really, really like this kind of text. It records everything faithfully and plainly like a frame. It shows the labor life that I have never paid attention to, brings out the realities around me one after another, and reveals the psychology of being ashamed to speak out. It embodies the majority, I think at least the majority of this group.
I like Xia better than Lao Gao. Lao Gao is a solid presence that people want to rely on. His standing figure in the well site amid the roaring machinery of heaven and earth carries a real sense of nobility and respect, making it easy for people to idealize him emotionally. In fact, he is not honest, and his ideological limitations do not make people believe in the support he can give. His experience is actually very vague. Although it is not difficult to imagine, the answer to Xia's "how to live" before seeing him really makes it difficult to tell the truth from the false. He didn't say why he didn't go to college or why he was willing to stay in the well team. It felt like he gave up from the beginning. This is a little tangled up in the limitations of the viewing angle. For Xia, his character with no merits is the most sympathetic to most people. The biggest difficulty for gay people is that they are fully aware of their "unfitness" in society and isolate themselves. They are unable to put aside their emotions and dare not think about the future. Xia is more true than Lao Gao, because his heart is completely open to readers. We can only understand that no one's evaluation can compare with his own peeling. He can indirectly admit many things, such as selfishness, dependence, superficiality, drifting, and the most painful so-called mediocrity. As well as the systemic pressure of equality in education, work, and marriage customs.
What I want to emphasize above is that this book is actually not boring. It should be said that it has been a long time since I have seen such a non-deliberate, non-pretentious and ruthless writing. It has no opinions, no tendencies, just statements. You can relax and easily get involved and look at it with the eyes of the characters. Finally, thank the author for giving them a gentle ending that is not perfect.
One more thing: when I read this book, I was still following two other serialized documentary novels about gays (the sweeter ones). After seeing the ending of this book, I was a little afraid to continue following the other two books, for fear of interruption and fear of the future.
It's actually quite uncomfortable after reading this. Xiao Xia clearly knows that Lao Gao and she like each other, but she still chooses to separate from Lao Gao for the sake of "future." I won't give Xiao Xia a high evaluation. Although Xiao Xia and Lao Gao do have different views on the future due to different educational backgrounds and other reasons, I still feel that it's not worth it for Lao Gao. He fell in love with someone he shouldn't have fallen in love with 😢 Xiao Xia, why are you so heartless?
Drilling is already hard work, but love is even harder.
This book is really good. There is no deliberate suffering, nor is it bloody or artificial. It is very natural and smooth, and the emotions are gradual. I like this work very much. It is very short but also very sad. It has been a long time since I met a book that made me feel uncomfortable after reading it. I highly recommend it. The author's writing style is also very good and very delicate, but not many people read it. The author should continue to persevere and write more. ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️[Asking for more explosive updates][Asking for more explosive updates][Asking for explosive updates][Asking for explosive updates][Asking for explosive updates Updates] [Asking for explosive updates] [Asking for explosive updates] [Asking for explosive updates] [Asking for explosive updates] [Asking for explosive updates] [Asking for explosive updates] [Asking for explosive updates] [Asking for explosive updates] [Asking for explosive updates] [Asking for explosive updates] [Asking for explosive updates] [Asking for explosive updates] [Asking for explosive updates] [Asking for explosive updates]
Although I am still relatively young, I was very suffocated while reading this book. I always think that we may only live this once, and living the life we want is the most important thing. I have a partner who I am not very satisfied with, and I have been thinking whether it is worth spending my whole life with him. He loves me very much and treats me very well, so I slowly love him and treat him well. I thought I was very open-minded and thought that this life would not be so perfect, but every time I thought about how this life would be spent, I would panic. I can't bear to waste my youth and time. As for Xiao Xia and Lao Gao in the same novel, time passes and youth is wasted. When both of them lose their energy, that's what suffocates me the most. I don't have any lofty ambitions. I just hope to spend my life with the person I like. If I can, I won't leave him. Maybe it's better to live a simple life.
It is a very realistic article. Xia seems to have regrets no matter what choice she makes, and so does her secret love. She was unrepentant at the beginning and then continued to study for herself and to change the status quo. In the end, the cycle with Lao Gao is really regrettable. It is indeed worthless for Lao Gao. To show sincerity, it would be better not to have met in the beginning. Zhong probably guessed their relationship from the beginning. After Lao Gao's four years of waiting, Xia was still late after all. When Xia went to Shenzhen, when Lao Gao called him, I guessed that he was divorced and went to find him. I really had no hesitation. He obviously didn't like Xia so much but still went to him. It would be better for Xia to be firmer. Some things can only be understood by oneself. Bystanders have no say. No matter what choice you make, you will have regrets. Maybe regret is the normal state of life. After reading this, I am still very sad. I can't walk out for a few hours now.
When I read this book, I heard a song in my mind, "The stars are bright in the blue sky, and the wasteland is red..." I know that it is not easy for Daqing oil workers to work hard to extract oil, but I read about the oil workers so deeply and the working environment on the drilling platform is so difficult. I feel the state of the oil workers from the bottom of my heart. The author's writing is very real and not hypocritical, which makes people unable to put it down 👍
