The Enemy Is at the Gates: From the Start, I Stage a Coup and Demand the Emperor Abdicate

After transmigrating to another world, Roland becomes the young prince of the Kingdom of Leon. He thinks he'll get to enjoy a life of decadent aristocratic luxury, but soon discovers that things are not what they seem.

From the start, a massive army of barbarian pirates lays siege to the city. Yet the Kingdom of Leon's poorly equipped rulers give no thought to repelling the invaders. Instead, they've gone mad enough to plunder the wealth of the city's people, all to satisfy the barbarians' ever-growing appetite and win their magnanimity.

Knowing the barbarians can never be satisfied, Roland argues his case and tries to change the king's mind. All he gets in return is ridicule and mockery, along with deliberate obstruction from his two brothers.

Fine, fine! Not one of you has the guts to stand up to the enemy, and you still insist on playing these games?

In that case, Roland brings out the Total War: Warhammer System. How do you propose to deal with that?

The court is full of treacherous officials, the king is incompetent, and the weak nation can only be bullied and carved up by others.

So Roland will use the sword in his hand and the mighty armies of the Warhammer Fantasy world to give His Cowardly Majesty a little shock!

When Roland leads his army in a military coup and forces the king to abdicate in favor of a worthier successor, the king is filled with regret.

He never imagined that this young prince he'd always ignored had somehow amassed such a terrifying force right under his nose!
