Warhammer 40K: Necrons, Nec, C'tan, Stars
(I'm no lore expert myself, and this story makes a lot of major changes to canon.)
The Shardbreaker, vanquisher of the Old Ones, Unifier, master of the final Triarch, and owner of the Scepter of Eternal Glory: these are just a few of the many titles Szarekh, ruler of the Necrons, has earned over the course of his long life.
The Silent King exiled himself in the endless void beyond the galaxy, but the way back had long since vanished. Instead, he arrived in an unknown stretch of space ruled by humanity, where countless kingdoms formed an interstellar era of warring states. There was no Warp here, but there was a similar Hyperspace, and there were psykers in a different sense of the word.
And, of course, endless dangers.
Xenos, humans, enemies, friends?
None of that matters. The Silent King will lead his eternal, endless armies to wage war across the stars.
But... the Necrontyr were long gone, and Szarekh had long since shouldered the eternal suffering of his companions.
Chosen by an unknown force, the Silent King will set this new galaxy ablaze, beginning with the “Song of Oblivion,” and bring the true Necrontyr back.
It's not easy. I finally saw someone writing about Necron.
