The Beast Taming Era: My Beasts Are a Little Unorthodox

[Advanced martial arts + wish-fulfillment + evolution + mythological exploration in the later arcs]

“A proper beast tamer's coming-of-age adventure with decidedly improper pets.”

Shen Yan is about to become a fully licensed beast tamer when his club ruthlessly fires him just before he receives his credentials. At his lowest point, he meets an abnormal panda girl who was also abandoned, and discovers that he has awakened a golden finger that lets him copy his opponents' stats.

Just as he's congratulating himself on getting a golden finger, he discovers that his own pets are even more outrageous!

“Your pet, [Mischievous Panda], has summoned its own pet, [Iron-Eating Beast]!”

“Your pet, [Slime], has absorbed the [Talents] of all your other pets!”

“Your pet, [Red Flame Azure Water Sword], has split from one body with two souls into two little girls...”

Looking at his collection of bizarre pets, Shen Yan decides to show them what a real golden finger can do!

“System, extract my opponent's pet [Talents] and [Skills]!”

“Extraction failed!”

“Extraction failed!”

“Extraction failed!”

“Extraction failed!”

“Heh, my own pets are still the best!”
