Child of the Rainforest

This novel is adapted from the “Heart of Surging Flame” version of the game Arknights. Told from the perspectives of Gavial, Zumama (Eunectes), and Tomimi, it recounts a far-reaching story set on the continent of Terra. The adaptation makes substantial changes: some details stay faithful to the original, while others are fan-created. Arknights has a large cast, so some characters in this novel will inevitably be out of character. Please don't bring the game's characterizations into your reading.

Also, this story is unrelated to the game's plot. It takes place in a different universe on Terra, so you can enjoy it even if you haven't played the game. You can think of Originium Arts as magic.

Veteran players can also view this book as a version of Terra from a multiverse.

The plot is entirely fictional. Any similarities are purely coincidental. Thank you for reading.
