Grandma Insists on Suffering

On my younger brother's birthday, my stingy grandmother killed the puppy I raised to serve as a snack with drinks and save money.

Grandma said, "It's just an animal. How could it compare to my precious grandson?"

My parents watched coldly as I tried to stop her, while my younger brother clapped and cheered.

Grandma resented me for trying to stop her. Once it was cooked, she forced me to eat the companion I'd spent every day with, and demanded that I say it tasted delicious.

When I refused, they beat and kicked me, then locked me in the woodshed to starve to death.

When I opened my eyes again, I was back on my younger brother's birthday.

I'd heard that dog meat and mung beans shouldn't be eaten together. Looking at the mung bean cakes Grandma had picked up, I couldn't help but feel eager.

Since they wanted to eat, I'd make sure they had their fill!
