Our Strategy Failed, My Best Friend and I Died Together, and Our Husbands Went Mad

My best friend and I transmigrated into a redemption novel, and the System gave each of us a life-saving bracelet. For seven whole years, my friend and I worked to save the tragic male supporting character. Just as we were about to succeed, the princess returned to the capital. The princess had spent years in a political marriage and returned covered in injuries. Unable to bear seeing her suffer, her husband begged me to give her my bracelet. “Huashang, your bracelet is special. It protects the heart meridians, so it’s sure to keep her safe.” The bracelet was my lifeline in this other world. I couldn’t give it to him. But he didn’t care about our relationship. He simply took it by force. That very night, I was brutally killed, and pieces of my body were dumped all over the capital. My best friend sensed that something had happened to me and begged her God of War husband to send soldiers to find me as soon as possible. But to her dismay, her husband took her bracelet too. “The bracelet protects the heart meridians and keeps people safe. Something this precious should go to the princess. You’ve only lost a piece of jewelry. Keeping the princess free from suffering is what matters most.” They didn’t know that the bracelets determined the fate of the transmigrators, and were also tied to the tragic male supporting characters’ fates. Daring to take them was a challenge to the Supreme God. My best friend stood over my corpse, then plunged a knife into her own heart, laughing in grief and scorn. “My friend and I will be waiting to see the day you regret this.”
