Rate the Land: Rich and Lucky, Without a Shred of Humanity

As soon as Cao Bufan graduated from university, after being raised on a tight budget, the first thing he did was join a new server in Sutu Zhibin and spend big, pulling cards like crazy. “Hey, I might be pretty lucky. Three Sun Quans in one five-card pull?” “Holy crap, did Sun Quan take some kind of drug? Eight uses of Nine Bestowals on the Yellow Dragon in eight turns?” After entering the game, Cao Bufan was astonished to discover that he was absurdly lucky, almost to an unreasonable degree. Not only did every five-card pull give him a five-star general, but his skill activation rates in both the early game and battles were unusually high. Cao Bufan was having a blast. He maxed out his daily pulls, filled his account with fully upgraded generals, then started spending on an alt, all for the thrill of pulling something good. As time went on, Cao Bufan grew increasingly famous in Sutu Zhibin. Everyone knew a new top-tier whale had appeared. He spent over a hundred thousand a day. When his alliance fought over a city, if an ally made the leaderboard five times in a row, he’d log into their account and help pull three core generals. Those who didn’t make the leaderboard got a yuan for every ten points of city durability they destroyed. In battles, he paid one yuan for every hundred merit points. Cao Bufan: “I’m rich and lucky. How are you supposed to beat me?” Players: “This guy has no humanity!”
