Fallen Spirit: Past and Present Lives

Luo Ling was once half the spiritual power of Bilu Palace in the Shangqing Heaven. After sneaking down to the mortal realm for fun, she met, came to know, and fell in love with the High God Jiyun. Just when she thought they would finally be together, the Heavenly Emperor's eldest son, Zhihuan, schemed to drive them apart.

On the day she was to marry Zhihuan, the Heavenly Emperor framed her as the reincarnation of the Demon Lord Xiao Huan. Her former friends and the assembled immortals immediately drew their swords against her.

Furious, Luo Ling fought back, ready to slaughter them all, but was stopped by the Old Ancestor.

Disillusioned, she reincarnated as Xiao Yan, a princess of the demon race. Using her resemblance to Luo Ling to bewitch Jiyun, she sought a chance to steal the Canghuan Bell. She fell in love with him in the process, but after helping his daughter escape an emotional deception, he personally crushed every feeling she had for him.

Failing to retrieve the Canghuan Bell, she returned to the demon realm, where her father locked her in the boundless darkness of the Xuanbing Cave. On the brink of death, she mastered the ninth level of the Xuantian Art, ascended to godhood, and replaced her father as Demon Lord.

Later, she helped Zhihuan become a Demon God, and together they launched a war between immortals and demons to take revenge on the Heavenly Realm.

In the end, Zhihuan was killed by Jiyun's daughter. Xiao Yan was also killed by her, and Jiyun took his own life out of grief.

With Xiao Yan dead, Luo Ling returned.

After helping Jiyun regain his physical body, she took him to the Shangqing Heaven, where they stayed together for eternity.
