[Showbiz] [singing] [suicide intervention counselor] [sickly] [salvation]
Han Fei transmigrates to a parallel world, only to discover that he has a rare condition: “sunshine depression.”
Taking all kinds of medication for years has dragged his whole family down. Unwilling to burden them any longer, he leaves home and travels far away.
To make a living, he enters an online singing competition hosted by a livestreaming platform.
A little competition changes the course of his life.
Because he has weathered the rain himself, he is always thinking of holding an umbrella for others.
[Preliminaries] One song, “Stranger,” sets the entire internet ablaze and makes countless people yearn for home.
[Semifinals] One song, “Under the Sea,” plunges everyone in the livestream into an abyss from which they cannot escape for a long time.
[Finals] One song, “Your Answer,” gives hope back to countless people who have been sunk in despair.
No one knows how many people a single uplifting song can save from being trapped in a mire they cannot escape.
My name is Han Fei. I'm not a singer, just a suicide intervention counselor.
