In her previous life, Xu Suisui doggedly pursued Gu Huaici until he finally agreed to be with her. Later, she was told, “I just thought it was funny how she was.”

This time, she decided to stay away from him and live her own life. But he seemed like a completely different person, chasing after her instead. She found it ironic, while he was consumed by regret and self-reproach…

He had fallen asleep and would never wake again.

After that, Xu Suisui often wondered: their reunion had been like a dream. She didn’t know whether it had been a chance to make things right or a punishment.
