Great Ming: I Embezzled Ten Billion, and Zhu Yuanzhang Praised Me as a Loyal Official

Also known as: I Only Want to Be a Loyal Minister, So Why Am I Wearing the Black Dragon Robe?

Yang Xian transmigrates to the Ming Dynasty and becomes Yangzhou’s first prefect, later remembered by posterity as a ruthless official.

The dynasty has only just been founded, and everything is waiting to be rebuilt.

The previous owner of his body had promised to restore Yangzhou to a land of fish and rice within two years, hoping to win Zhu Yuanzhang’s favor. He was ultimately executed by being torn apart by chariots.

Just as Yang Xian falls into despair, the Prestige Shop awakens, granting him access to unlimited supplies.

Pork-and-pickled-mustard-green noodles, cola, burgers, and fried chicken...

Tempted by countless delicious foods, the common people work hard to build up Yangzhou City.

Corn yields 1,200 jin per mu, hybrid rice yields 2,500 jin per mu, potatoes yield 4,000 jin per mu...

Fields are brought back into cultivation, bridges and roads are built, skyscrapers go up, and canals are opened.

That is not all. Yang Xian resolves domestic and foreign crises, crushing rebels and wiping out pirates.

Yet his abilities arouse suspicion, and Zhu Yuanzhang orders him poisoned.

With no other choice, Yang Xian has to take the fight elsewhere.

He conquers the three Mongol states and unites the Jurchen tribes.

He subdues Goryeo and conquers Japan.

A master of both civil and military affairs!

He begins working to build the Chinese Federation.

He revitalizes the northern frontier, strips Japan’s Iwami Ginzan Silver Mine bare, sails west ahead of schedule to open maritime trade, wages war on nations across the world, and expands his territory.

All the powerful nations of later generations become Yang Xian’s vassal states.

The Chinese Federation becomes the strongest power in the world.

Ten years later.

Yang Xian dons the black dragon robe.

He renames the country Great Hua!

Nearby,

Zhu Yuanzhang looks at his former subject, his heart filled with conflicting emotions.

In the end, he bows.

“I, Zhu Yuanzhang, Emperor of the Ming Dynasty, pay homage to the Yongle Emperor!”
