This book was such an eye-opener for me! It profoundly revealed the emptiness and depression of people in modern society, and also made me think more about my own life. I especially hate Tyler Durden in the book. He is like a demon and leads people into the abyss of violence. But I also admire the courage of the protagonist, who finally realizes the problem and tries to take action. This book is inspiring and a rollercoaster ride to read!

One of my favorite cult novels, and one of the coolest in my opinion.
I have something to say about the ending of the book (most people probably read the novel after watching the movie, so it's understandable even if I give a small spoiler here, right [thinking]). Jack finally planned to commit suicide by drinking a bullet, but the bullet only penetrated the cheek and did not kill Jack.
The description of the ending is very similar to heaven, which makes me always think that the ending of the novel is open-ended. Jack may not die, or he may die.
But you have to know that there is a second part of Fight Club, which tells the story of Jack and Mary after they get married and have children. Under the pressure of raising children after marriage, Taylor comes out again. That's the way it is.
So this is not an open ending at all, Jack is not dead at all, and neither is Tyler.
So it's obvious why the movie version didn't make a second part, because Taylor was already written to death in the movie, and the building really exploded. Unless the director intends to eat the setting.
