Men Get Loved While Women Get Hurt? This Supporting Lady's Set on Slaughtering Men

[Female-led political power fantasy with no romance, satisfying revenge, awakening female consciousness, a highly intelligent heroine, and decisive action]

In her previous life, Ming Xi was her mother's cherished darling. Until the age of thirteen, she was carefully protected, kindhearted, and sheltered from the ways of the world.

But on her thirteenth birthday, in front of a crowd of witnesses, her own father, her father's concubine, and her half-sister caught her in an alleged affair. Her reputation was ruined.

Her mother was forced to marry her off to a wastrel who had besmirched her name. The mother's worry over her daughter's fate made her gravely ill, and later, as she lay bedridden, her husband killed her with a bowl of poison...

After many twists and turns, Ming Xi gathered the evidence that her mother had been murdered. But in this empire, where men and fathers held absolute power, children were forbidden from bringing charges against their fathers.

If so-called justice would not help her and her mother, then she would kill her mother's murderer with her own hands, and take care of that wastrel while she was at it.

After taking her revenge, she found no place for herself in the patriarchal empire. Her half-sister somehow found a powerful husband, who sent people after her.

His influence stretched far and wide. Whether she fled to Mobei, Baiyue, or the Western Regions, he could always track her down... While on the run, she built up her own forces and struck back at the pursuers. Several times, she nearly killed her brother-in-law too, but each time she fell just short.

She fought him for twenty years. Only as she lay dying did she learn that the entire world was made up of a book. Her brother-in-law was its male lead, her sister its female lead, and she was nothing but the story's greatest villain, a supporting character destined to be killed by the leads.

Given another chance, Ming Xi vows to protect her mother and overthrow this male-dominated world.

Commandery princess, princess, queen, empress: Ming Xi rises step by step, building an empire where women reign supreme.
