You Told Me to Drop Out, So Why Did I Unleash a Sword That Cleaves Heaven?

[No System + play the pig to eat the tiger + invincible protagonist + lighthearted humor + supreme swordsmanship + while others practice advanced martial arts, I cultivate immortality] My name is Chen Chang'an, and I've been a fool for eighteen years. In truth, I was the greatest Sword Emperor in the Immortal Realm's history, known as the "Chang'an Sword Immortal." When I underwent the Divine Emperor Tribulation, my closest friend and beloved joined forces to betray me. I detonated my immortal soul and used the supreme secret art, the Supreme Way of Forgetting Emotion, to be reborn in another life. But my injuries were too severe, and my consciousness remained sealed for eighteen years. At my coming-of-age ceremony, my enemies came to the door. The academy announced my expulsion in front of everyone. My sister fought for me, only to be gravely wounded by a single move and fall to her knees, coughing up blood! The family's century-old reputation was trampled into the dirt! "One's a fool, the other's all show. The Chen family is finished!" Just as the whole city laughed at us and the family fell into despair, Chen Chang'an finally opened the eyes of the Sword Emperor who had ruled for all eternity. When faced with provocation, he casually picked up a peachwood sword that looked like a fire poker. The whole crowd burst out laughing! But in the next instant, he gave it a casual wave. One sword strike opened the gates of heaven! Sword light streaked across three thousand miles. Geniuses knelt, grandmasters fell, and the city lord came knocking in the dead of night to bow and pledge allegiance! Yet just as this immortal emperor prepared to return to his peak, he was baffled: everyone else cultivates through Qi Refining, Origin Return, and Soul Condensation... So why am I at Qi Refining level eleven, twelve, thirteen?! Does the Qi Refining stage even have an end?!
