The Crowd-Pleaser System Has Bound Itself to Me! Why Is This a Horror Instance?

Looking for Metaphysical Fiction With a Strong Female Lead, Livestreaming, Ghost Hunting, and Fortune-Telling

I don't mind whether there's a male lead or not, but if there is one, I'd prefer him to be an ordinary person with no supernatural abilities or mysterious backers. He can just dote on the female lead and stay in the background. Please don't let him steal her spotlight.
