On the Tianyun Continent, rival powers carve up the land, wars rage without end, and immortals and demons coexist. Lin Han was an ordinary university student on Blue Star until an accident made him transmigrate into the body of a wealthy young master who shared his name. He also awakened a System. The young master had been the heir of the Lin family, but his laziness and indulgence in wine and women had earned him contempt from everyone around him. His cousin Lin Yan even coveted his position as heir. But as soon as Lin Han took over the body, he used decisive methods to strip Lin Yan of his power and reclaim control of the Lin family.
For generations, the Lin family has been merchants. It is the wealthiest clan in the Central Province, with riches beyond measure and the priceless True Dragon Jade Seal. But despite their abundant wealth and supplies, they lack the troops needed to defend themselves, making them a tempting target for many. The Chu family is one such threat. Though the two families have always been on good terms, the Chu family ultimately used a marriage alliance as a pretext to annex the Lin family for its own gain. Fortunately, Chu Hongyu, the most beautiful woman in the Central Province and Lin Han’s wife for just one day, felt guilty and spared his life. Instead, she knocked him unconscious and sent him to the Eastern Province. There, with the help of his System and the fortune brought by the True Dragon Jade Seal, Lin Han defeated his enemies one after another and soon became a powerful regional lord.
Just as he is preparing to lead his army back to the Central Province to avenge his family, the cultivation world suddenly intervenes in the affairs of the mortal realm.
With no other choice, Lin Han has to set aside his mortal-world grudges for now and head to the cultivation world to hone his skills.
I have revised the previous chapters more than a dozen times, but they are still not very good. But the writing in the later part is still good. It mainly focuses on practical accumulation and lack of experience, so it is difficult to write well.
