Amid War and Famine, I Stockpile Supplies and Pamper an Ancient General

[Clingy general + levelheaded heiress + a connection across time + stockpiling supplies + war and famine + devotion to family and country] Luo Youyou inherited the Luo family’s Dragon-and-Phoenix Pendant, passed down for a thousand years. After the dragon on it came to life and ran off, the pendant inexplicably began to “swallow” things. While driving enemy forces out of the coastal waters, a general and his troops were caught in extreme weather and stranded on an island. The islanders had been oppressed by the enemy for years. With no grain or vegetables to eat, they had developed scurvy. With the court failing to send provisions, the soldiers had eaten every ant on the island. It looked as if they were about to die far from home. The general, who had never asked anyone for help, had no choice but to place his hopes in the white dragon jade pendant he had just obtained, which could “spit” things out. Holding the Dragon-and-Phoenix Pendant, now missing its dragon, Luo Youyou heard the general’s plea. Without a word, she immediately began stockpiling supplies. She sent all the grain, vegetables, meat, and supplements they could use, making sure the soldiers ate their fill and ate well, so they could fight the enemy a thousand to one and make every soldier a fearless warrior. She sent plenty of medicine so the islanders could recover, form a self-defense force, and protect their home. Need supplies to dispel fog, bring rain, or build dams? She would send them, and there would be plenty. And the most important military supplies? She would send whatever she could get, and if she couldn’t get it, she would find a way. Grateful for her kindness, the general sent her all the spoils of war seized after defeating the enemy. When Luo Youyou saw them, she grinned. “Heh, time to build the Great Xia Museum.” From then on, if people from R wanted to see the antiques left by their ancestors, they would have to buy a ticket from her. The general sent her spoils of war, then gold, silver, and jewelry, then accessories and hair ornaments… Finally, he looked at his own eight-pack abs and broad shoulders and narrow waist. Hmm… he wanted to give her those too.
