In this dark and twisted world, Sun Wukong is no longer the innocent stone monkey, but a gloomy demon king who has been imprisoned for thousands of years and has a heart for revenge. His master, Tang Seng, was an ambitious power master who wanted to seize power in the heavens in the name of learning scriptures. Zhu Bajie is a bloodthirsty warmonger, while Sha Seng is an insidious betrayer. The true identity of the White Dragon Horse is the evil god of chaos, waiting for an opportunity to devour all living beings. The five people set out on the westward journey, ostensibly searching for the true scripture, but in fact they all have their own agendas. Along the way, they will face more cunning and ferocious demons, mortals whose faith has collapsed, and immortal Buddhas that have long since decayed.
