Annotated Edition of Four Great Classics (Collector's Edition) (13 Volumes in Total)

Mao's critical edition of "The Romance of the Three Kingdoms" was originally signed by "Shengtan Waishu, Maoyuan Mao Zonggang Xu Shishi's Commentary, Shengshan Bieji, Wumen Hangyong Nengshi Ding", which is the most popular final version so far. This compilation and publication is based on the Dakuitang edition, with proofreading and annotations. The original book was preceded by "Preface", "Fanli", and "Reading the Records of the Three Kingdoms" written by Jin Shengtan, all of which are now placed as appendices after the main text. Jin Shengtan commented on "Water Margin", which was a popular version during the three hundred years of the Qing Dynasty. We use Guanhuatang's "Fifth Talent Book Shi Naian Water Margin" as the base version and make more detailed annotations. Among the many critical editions of "Journey to the West" in the Qing Dynasty, there is only one unique one, "New Journey to the West" by Zhang Shushen. It was originally called "New Journey to the West" and was signed "Xinxihe Zhang Shushen's Notes". This publication is based on the tablets collected by Jin Provincial Book Industry Gongji in Wuchen, the thirteenth year of Qianlong's reign (1748), with proofreading and annotations. This is the first time that a compiled edition of Zhang Shushen's commentary on "Journey to the West" has been published. "Dream of Red Mansions" is a representative work of the Ping-Dian School. It was originally called "Additional Commentary and Supplementary Pictures of the Complete Pictures of Jinyu Yuan" and was signed "Comments by Wang Xilian, the owner of the flower protector, Yao Xie, a mountain dweller of Damou, and Zhang Xin, a leisure person from Taiping". This collation is based on the Shanghai lithograph edition of the 15th year of Guangxu's reign, the Shanghai lithograph edition of the 14th year of Guangxu's reign, the Tongshu Ju edition of the 10th and 15th years of Guangxu's reign, and the Qiufengzhai edition as the collation edition. The book has brief annotations, as well as readings, prefaces, general comments, excerpts, praises, epigraphs, chants, questions and answers, phonetic explanations, illustrations of the Grand View Garden, etc.
