Since the battle between the real and fake Monkey King, Tathagata asserted that the six-eared macaque was real and asked the six-eared monkey to beat the real Wukong to death. However, how could Wukong disappear so easily? There is still a trace of his soul floating in the chaos.
This remnant soul was extremely weak, as if it would dissipate at any time. But fate did not seem to have completely abandoned him. When he was about to be destroyed, Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva felt something in his heart. Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva, with his boundless compassion, saved Wukong's remaining soul.
Under the protection of the Bodhisattva, the remnant soul gradually stabilized. Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva sighed deeply in his heart when he saw that the Great Sage Qitian, who once caused great trouble in the Heavenly Palace, was now in this state.
"Wukong, you have such a strong temper that you end up like this. But your fate should not end here." Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva said softly.
