Cursed Rabbit

When I first read Cursed Rabbit, I thought it was a children's book. The one that impressed me the most was probably "Head". In the past, some people always said that South Korea is a country without literature, but now it seems that this is nothing. Although I have only read a few Korean literary works, there is no doubt that Korean female writers are writing the history of Korean literature.

A very beautiful book. I never imagined that I would use the word beautiful to describe it. A collection of short stories that surprised me at first and changed my mind now. At first I just thought it was a story. I added this story to my bookshelf very early, but I didn't leave it to read. Instead, I let it sit day after day, and time went by until this morning. The first page was officially turned, and the last story even ended at 23 o'clock. There is a kind of eerie beauty, which is realistic and hurts people's hearts. This is what this book brought me.

A book of magical reality. The author presents the various difficulties faced by human beings in the world from a unique perspective. What touched me the most was the author's final speech. People come into this world alone, and they will die alone, but there is no need to be afraid, this is our inevitable end. "This world is originally a lonely place, and all existences are alone. Setting things right, punishing evil and promoting good, or taking revenge are not always necessary in different situations. Even if these things are accomplished, the world will still be bitter, and humans will still be lonely. This will never change, and my story just wants to express this. I hope that through such a sour and lonely way, I can provide some comfort to lonely readers who are fighting in an indifferent and cruel world."

The writing style of this book is very unique, the writing is concise and powerful, and each story is full of imagination. Just like the rabbit lamp in the book, although it is used for curses, its cute shape is still impressive. This reminds me of the contradictions and complexities in life. Some things are not as simple as they appear. I am about to get married, but I will also hesitate. Just like this book, there are also profound thoughts behind the seemingly absurd stories. I like this book very much and recommend it to you!

It can be read as a horror story. I was attracted to read the article "Exemption from Curse", but I didn't expect that it would be the most satisfying article in the whole book. The curse that brings bad luck and the family that makes the cursed object are such interesting settings, but it's a pity that they were thrown away after being used once. My least favorite piece in the collection is probably "Head", because my understanding and expectations seem to be contrary to what the author wants to express. The creature "Head" appeared completely out of nowhere. Its initial appearance, behavior and speech made it difficult to treat it as a human being. The heroine's final tragedy only made me feel inexplicable and angry. All in all, except for "The Cursed Rabbit", the other articles are mediocre and a collection of novels that can be read.

It reveals the cruelty and coldness of this world through strange stories and fantastic imagination, but at the same time can feel the warmth and comfort for every lonely and confused person.

It's a bit scary for me to go It's a ridiculous story, but as I read it slowly I saw the reality of cannibalism.

The 12 short stories can be read quickly. Each chapter has the message it wants to express. Some of them I can understand, some I can't understand. I hope more people can express their opinions after reading it.

It's interesting and could be read as a ghost story.
