On the Five Continents, shrouded in rust and haze, survival is no birthright. It is a price paid in blood and sweat. Three colossal mountains of weapons tower between heaven and earth: Panlong Ridge, Liuyun Summit, and Obsidian Peak. They are the source of every resource needed to survive. The Dragon, Cloud, and Rock families control them, weaving an iron web of enslavement through their absolute monopoly on weapons. Without a weapon, no one can work, which means hunger and death. This cold order has endured for a thousand years, turning the continent into a silent hell.
Then a boy named Luo Ze opened his eyes in the deepest mine. In rags, he struggled beneath the pickaxe like thousands of other enslaved miners, yet his heart refused to be broken, and a mystery about his origins remained unsolved. By chance, he touched a strange object unlike any ordinary metal in the world, awakening a resonance with the mysterious fragment he carried. That glimmer of light stung the darkness of the ages.
And so a spark fell upon a parched wasteland. The boy’s awakening would become the fulcrum that moved the world. An epic storm, kindled by one insignificant person and destined to sweep across the entire continent, was brewing. He would tear apart the rusted sky screen and challenge the arrogant colossi: Why should people born as humans have to beg blades for the right to breathe?
This is a thorny, blood-soaked road on which mortal bodies dare to shake divine mountains, and an epic saga of freedom, dignity, and the indomitable human spirit. The bronze bell of the old era has begun to crack, and the dawn of a new era will be forged by the will of billions.
The writing is good and it is the best I have not seen in many years...
