Death’s Intern

I’m a rookie Grim Reaper, a being with an exceptionally high concentration of spirit particles. I have abilities beyond those of humans and can fight Hollows. In short, I’m a ghost. There are over a thousand ghosts in this book. Because my spirit-particle concentration is far beyond that of ordinary people, I’m tasked with protecting the human world. Every ghost has a unique regret, and my duties include fulfilling their final wishes, guiding departed souls, delivering ghosts to the afterlife, and maintaining the balance between the worlds of yin and yang so the world doesn’t fall into chaos. My bosses in the underworld are Black and White Impermanence and the King of Hell, while my boss in the living world is the director of the Spirit Bureau. Since it’s my first time doing this job during my probationary period, all kinds of hilarious stories ensue. I also have a nickname: the fall guy! I’m never around when something good happens, but whenever something goes wrong, it’s all my fault. I’ve worked here for decades, and my salary still hasn’t reached a hundred. Don’t ask why. It’s all been docked...

Now let me take you into a ghost story unlike any other. I dare say this is the first truly different supernatural story the internet has ever seen.
