[No System, a genius, some buildup at the start, ruthless later on, a master of hiding his strength within the sect]
The Tianyuan Continent was vast and boundless, home to countless races and dotted with sacred clans and holy lands.
Sacred clans and holy lands had once produced Great Emperors among their ancestors. Though those Great Emperors had since passed away, their power remained formidable. They not only possessed the legacies left behind by the Great Emperors, but also countless reserves of hidden strength.
The Emperor-Hiding Sect was a peculiar sect on the Tianyuan Continent, publicly known as one that had never produced a Great Emperor.
Throughout its history, the Emperor-Hiding Sect had been destroyed nearly ten times. Yet it always rose again a thousand years later, and its strength had consistently ranked sixth on the continent. Others coveted the secrets within the sect, but apart from Ye Sha, no one had ever managed to infiltrate it.
The protagonist, Lin Yang, was only seven years old. Three years ago, the sect master, Le Tianxin, had brought him back from a journey.
Lin Yang had been blessed with a full forehead and exceptional natural talents since childhood. The spiritual energy around him automatically flowed through his body with every frown and breath.
After living for three years in the Emperor-Hiding Sect, rich with spiritual energy, Lin Yang’s bones were like jade and his body flawless. He surpassed the heirs of sacred clans and holy lands who had been raised on thousands of holy medicines.
Le Tianxin had always suspected that Lin Yang possessed a special constitution, but because he was so young and his constitution had yet to manifest, she had never been able to confirm it.
Now that Lin Yang was seven, he had reached the age when cultivators normally began their training. Yet no one in the sect could accurately identify his constitution. So Le Tianxin informed the ancestor in advance and, after receiving permission, brought Lin Yang before him…
