In the late 1990s, a kidnapping case occurred in Tongyun County in Northeast China. The victim was an 8-year-old child. His father was killed and dumped in the suburbs that day. The mastermind of the kidnapping case died in the park of an old steel factory. Burnt charms were scattered around the two bodies. Was it a religious case or a revenge killing?
