Against the Current: A Two-Way Hunt

[Ensemble Cast + Two Male Leads + Equally Matched Power] Xie Wusheng is a red-themed young man with an endearingly innocent face, yet everyone knows him as the coordinator of Wumeng City. He can walk out of the Spirit Ruins unharmed all on his own, and in the world beyond, he’s an absolute maniac. But behind his feigned amnesia lies a side no one knows: nightmares plague him every night, and whenever he’s alone with a certain someone, he can’t resist the urge to kill. He never suppresses his desires; his apparent madness has instead become his mask...

The person Xie Wusheng refers to as a “masochist” is Xia Lan. Though Xia Lan is powerful enough to escape Xie Wusheng’s clutches, he keeps willingly walking into his traps. Unlike Xie Wusheng, Xia Lan truly has a past he can never forget, and that is precisely why he came to Yaoguang Star...

In this encounter, whether accidental or deliberate, the two of them aren’t the only ones searching for answers about the past and the future. There’s Ruo Du, the sunny young man rumored to have been struck on the head by a meteorite; Yue Tang, who built Sugar Moon City into a commercial empire single-handedly; Sanqi, a money-loving genius with mysterious origins; Wutong, who lives with a tiger plushie and is always searching for someone; Shengling, a lively little spirit who could be either a cat or a rabbit; Mi Yao, powerful and somewhat haughty, wholly devoted to restoring the glory of Fengze District; and Ximo, a mysterious figure of uncertain whereabouts whose gender is unknown to everyone...

Threads of fate, woven from joy and sorrow, good and evil, rise and fall, are hooked onto the paths of the stars by the fingertips of a puppet. Each turn of the stars stirs countless different destinies. Looking back, they realize it was only a sheepdog’s sharp teeth driving the travelers onto a road of no return...

Now that we’ve been exiled by the apocalypse, why bother with right and wrong, cause and effect?
