The Outcast: Starting with Marrying the Perfect Bride in Siheyuan

After transmigrating to the 1950s, Zhao Fangyao becomes the younger brother of Zhao Fangxu, who oversees matters involving extraordinary people. Having just completed a mission to protect a scientist returning to China, he leaves the military and returns to the capital, where he becomes the head of security at a steel mill. Before he can even settle into his new job, a senior official rushes him off to a blind date... A world combining Siheyuan and The Outcast. With his innate Merit System, Zhao Fangyao earns merit points simply by helping others. He sends Jia Zhangshi to a labor camp and guides her toward supporting herself. Everyone is happy except Jia Zhangshi! Reward: 500 merit points and the Great Compassion Palm! He recruits Yuan Tao and earns the Shangqing Sect's Complete Collection of Talismans. Recruiting Xu Xiang earns him the Twin Hands. Recruiting Feng Tianyang earns him the complete Spirit Summoning and Sending technique. Finding Feng Baobao earns him fifty years of cultivation. And so, while keeping a low profile in the Siheyuan, Zhao Fangyao unwittingly turns the steel mill's security office into the greatest force in the world of extraordinary people. Zhao Fangxu: “Little brother! After all this, which one of us is supposed to oversee the world of extraordinary people?” Zhao Fangyao: “Who says the two of us can't both do the job?” “In the Siheyuan, you call me Zhao Fangyao. Once you leave the capital, what do you call me?” “E-Emperor number two...” There is little Outcast plot in the 1950s and 60s. Perhaps it's because of the anti-crime campaigns, and the world of extraordinary people is keeping a low profile, which gives the author plenty of room to improvise.
