Reflections on Watching Videos by Ni Haixia

I am Ma Haiwei. The “Haiwei” in Hemingway is my pen name, and I am a beginner in traditional Chinese medicine. I don’t want this treasured gem of our civilization to be obscured, so I am sharing recordings of the lectures by TCM master Ni Haixia. I hope others who are interested can find inspiration in them. I believe in the idea, “When poor, cultivate yourself; when prosperous, help the world.” Treating illness and saving lives is an extremely serious matter, so I hope everyone will proceed with the utmost caution! Still, the fundamentals of TCM are quite straightforward, and we can discuss them together. Given how dominant Western medicine has become, and how the media loudly promotes fallacies such as “cancer is incurable” and “TCM takes too long to work and only treats the symptoms,” it is hard not to laugh. Patients these days are so easily misled: they accept whatever doctors say, and some even go to hospitals despite not trusting Western medicine at all. Such examples are countless. I hope you can learn the basic theories and principles of TCM here, and avoid jumping to conclusions. Let our nation’s treasured heritage safeguard our health! I hope all Chinese people will have this confidence: TCM is the body’s instruction manual.
