The Waning Crescent Has Vanished

[Two male leads + an ex chasing after his lover + mutual healing] [A CEO who says one thing but means another, and a bottom who plays dumb while hiding his true nature] One-on-one, both are inexperienced in love Happy ending, read with care Jin Yi is a little-known actor, a C-lister at best. He falls in love at first sight with Qu Jing at a private club, and, completely lovestruck, puts Qu Jing first in everything. Their controversial pairing becomes a huge hit. Without giving him a chance to explain, Qu Jing drags him into bed. Jin Yi: “I can explain. Just hear me out.” Qu Jing: “I don’t like explanations. They’re the most empty and powerless words of all.” * Jin Yi may be a hopeless romantic, but Shen Yi isn’t! The Shen Group went bankrupt, and his own “dear” uncle was behind it all? After four years of laying low and biding his time, with the Ning Group on the brink of bankruptcy and everything else under his control, Jin Yi finally tells Qu Jing he wants to end their so-called arrangement. The September night is especially cold, all the more so with the torrential rain falling that day. Jin Yi's words are colder than ice water: “We’re over.” * Later... Jin Yi lies in a hospital bed, his gaze distant and indifferent. “An explanation is the most empty and powerless thing in the world. I’ve learned that lesson, and I still remember it. This time, I’m giving those words back to you, Mr. Qu. I hope you’ll stop pestering me.” Qu Jing's expression shifts again and again. “I know. I understand. But I want to explain. I want you to know that I don’t want you to misunderstand me. I don’t. Do you understand?” “I love you. I’ll cling to you for the rest of my life.”
