Actor Bu Fan was knocked unconscious for his convincing performance, and woke up transmigrated as a guard beside Princess Wuyou of the Xia Kingdom.
The capital of the Xia Kingdom fell to the allied armies of three kingdoms. The guards escorted Princess Wuyou as she fled, with the enemy in hot pursuit.
The guards were all killed in battle. Only Bu Fan remained, accompanying her through life and death, and Princess Wuyou fell in love with him.
Bu Fan accidentally activated the Love and Hate System, and was captured alongside Princess Wuyou and taken to the imperial palace of the Sang Kingdom.
The emperor of the Sang Kingdom said, “Bu Fan, you serve as Princess Wuyou’s guard. I intend to take her into my harem. What will you do?”
Bu Fan replied, “I’ll destroy you, take your kingdom, and wipe out your entire clan. Your court and harem will all belong to me!”
Princess Wuyou asked, “Consort, I heard you like empresses, but there are no empresses in this world. What will you do?”
Bu Fan replied, “I have a solution. We’ll carry out a princess-raising plan and turn you into an empress.”
Years later, the strife across the land came to an end. Only two kingdoms remained: the Hua Kingdom and the Xia Kingdom.
The ministers asked, “Your Majesty, what marks the border between the Hua Kingdom and the Xia Kingdom?”
Bu Fan replied, “My imperial bed. Everything to the left belongs to the Hua Kingdom, and everything to the right is Xia territory.”
The consorts asked, “Your Majesty, what is your relationship with Empress Wuyou?”
Bu Fan replied, “In the Hua Kingdom, she is the empress. In the Xia Kingdom, I am her imperial consort. At the border between our two kingdoms, we’re an ordinary married couple who occasionally play ‘two dragons chasing a pearl.’ That’s perfectly reasonable, isn’t it?”
Empress Wuyou asked, “Imperial Consort, how should we resolve disputes between the Hua Kingdom and the Xia Kingdom?”
Bu Fan replied, “We’ll have a no-holds-barred match at the border. Whoever wins gets the final say.”
