Voyager 1 discovered a super-Earth near the inner boundary of the Oort Cloud. The United Earth Government named it Godking Planet. Two months later, Voyager 1 lost contact. (This is the site's third edition. The current fifth edition is 4.34 MB in TXT format, roughly 1.4 to 1.5 million Chinese characters. The story: Earth is plagued by constant wars until the Eastern Empire unifies the globe. It sends the Pioneer on a mission to find Voyager 1 and Godking Planet, and then explore the outer edge of the Oort Cloud. The ship carries the human Lin Yu, the AI Amelia, the AI mainframe Divine Star, and robots numbered 1 through 5. Lin Yu spends most of the journey in hibernation. Near Uranus, Amelia and Divine Star develop an irreconcilable conflict. They fight at Miranda, then crash separately on Triton and Charon. Over the next 8,000 years, each establishes a civilization. Meanwhile, Lin Yu awakens upon reaching Godking Planet and discovers that the two women have gone missing. Grief-stricken and helpless, he explores the planet alone, meeting a three-eyed goddess in an underground cavern. They converse and exchange teachings, and in the end, the goddess helps the Pioneer set out to explore beyond the Oort Cloud. Lin Yu goes back into hibernation for the 8,000-year round trip. When he briefly awakens at the outer boundary, he finds that what he is seeing is a virtual force field. After returning to Godking Planet, he discovers that the goddess has disappeared. He then returns to Earth to report his findings, only to learn that Earth was destroyed in a nuclear war sometime during those 8,000 years. At last, he heads to Titan to establish a colony. Five hundred and fifty years after its founding, the colony encounters the civilizations of Amelia and Divine Star once again.)
