Madoka Kaname disappeared after becoming a "god." To protect her friend's happiness, Homura Akemi stole away part of the Law of the Cycle. The part of Madoka that was human was severed from the Law of the Cycle, and her love for Madoka, surpassing both despair and hope, transformed her into a devil who rebelled against the world.
As the part of Madoka Kaname that had been stripped away, the "divine" part known as Madoka Tamaki is accidentally swept into a temporal storm and arrives in the world of Detective Conan. There, she meets Rei Furuya and Hiromitsu Morofushi while they are still students, changing the course of their lives.
