Xia Qing never imagined that
one fateful encounter with a pig would lead to a whole herd of pigs down the road.
First, she transmigrated into the body of a little girl with a mop of yellow hair. Then her ridiculous parents married her off to a poor scholar famous for miles around!
The scholar wasn’t just poor! He was sick and poor! He was nearly at death’s door himself, yet still had two little children to raise.
Xia Qing was exhausted. “I can support this family, but you have to pull your weight too!”
Later, Xia Qing grew crops and medicinal herbs, opened a shop, and made so much money her hands grew tired of counting it.
Meanwhile, the scholar regained his health and stood tall and strong. He sold a single piece of calligraphy for a fortune.
Her former sister-in-law and biological older brother bitterly regretted everything, crying and begging for forgiveness.
By then, firecrackers were popping and gongs and drums were beating outside.
A top scholar in red robes appeared at the door and stopped Xia Qing as she tried to escape with a bundle on her back.
“Have I finally proved myself?”
(There isn’t much about the pocket dimension, so please keep that in mind when deciding whether to read. Thanks!)
