[A proud, aloof lioness + a romantic, loyal puppy]
Li Ran, a junior in college, meets a strange girl while cycling around Qinghai Lake. From then on, she becomes the source of all his happiness and pain.
Two years later, Li Ran asks the person in his arms, “What was your first impression of me?”
“Warm and thoughtful, but a little too nosy.”
Li Ran protests, “I wasn’t being nosy. I was interested in you!”
Cai Sitian smiles. “So you liked me from the very beginning?”
“Of course. Who knew you were such a silly goofball that you’d never notice?”
“Honestly, people who like me from the start usually give up after a couple of days. You never really made a move, so I thought you’d given it some thought and decided we should just be friends.”
Li Ran feels a little guilty. He really had spent a long time hesitating and thinking it over, so he asks, “If I’d confessed right away, would you have said yes?”
Cai Sitian answers honestly, “Probably not.”
So his strategy had been right. Li Ran hugs her, and Cai Sitian looks up at him and asks, “What about me?”
“You?” There’s so much Li Ran could say: proud, aloof, bad-tempered, and looking like someone you shouldn’t mess with. Then you get to know her and realize she’s even more intimidating. Still as a statue one moment and darting off like a rabbit the next, fragile and sensitive one minute, a goddess of battle the next. Her contradictions are dialed up to the max, but deep down she’s just a lazy, goofy little lion.
Li Ran answers, “It’s like finding a star, wiping it clean, and seeing how bright and dazzling it is. You set my whole world alight.”
This is my first time to write a book review. I first read this novel because the character of the heroine was very attractive to me. The hero's character was very average. Later in the book, I collapsed. The hero and heroine were separated due to a misunderstanding. The heroine went to the bar for excitement, which made me retch for a while. It's not that there are double standards for men and women, it just makes me feel very uncomfortable. After reading this paragraph, I immediately deleted this book from my bookshelf. Later, I suddenly wanted to see the later development of the male and female protagonists, so I searched the browsing history to find out. I didn't expect that the book would be finished so soon! I specifically gave it five stars to praise my early love for this book. I hope that even if there is a misunderstanding between the male and female protagonists in the future, they will not get involved with the third person. I wish the author will write more works in the future!
Let me start with the conclusion: This book is really beautiful!! 😘😘 I have been reading this book for the past two days. In fact, the image of the heroine was not very pleasing to me at first (I won't spoil the specific details, please read it by yourself), but after reading some of the later content, I defended her in my heart and thought she was quite interesting. (In fact, I think the best two stories are the two stories during the graduation season. I am now in my senior year and looking for a job. The anxiety is really immersive). Watching the male and female protagonists get closer to each other, understand each other, grow up, and reconcile with themselves, each other, and the world after the conflict, my heart followed them ups and downs, sometimes feeling happy and sometimes sad for them (are you happy to torture me like this)? The description of emotions is very delicate and touching. I don't know much about the psychological activities of the heroine and the growth of the character. At least I am very satisfied with it. However, in my personal opinion, the male protagonist's character performance is inferior. The boy was actually restrained and confident at that time in the book. The specific difference is that the male protagonist is not me.
It's more realistic. Except for the weird setting that the heroine likes her cousin, everything else is well written.
Very nice looking
The plot is real and humorous, really funny. I like the straightforward character of the heroine and the cute and silly hero.
The writing is still very good and suits my taste.
The scenery and space performance are very good, and the characters are also very vivid.
The heroine obviously didn't let go, so why did she have a serious conversation at the end? She's so blue and thin.
